Hello everyone! New to BYC, but not new to having chickens. We live just outside of Lufkin in a rural area so no problems with livestock laws. We have 1 RIR, 2 Speckled Sussex, 2 Marans and 1 Welsummer.
It sure is! I lived on Signal Hill for 20+ years - both of my girls were raised there. It was a lot different then - in the 80s - I hardly recognized it last time I drove there.
We moved in the 1994. My kids still talk about "home". We had 40 acres - much more room for animals. Now we live on 2 acres.
