I do recall reading *that thread* on hybridization of seeds with the Aussie's! Umm, last spring???? Good stretch for my gray matter too.I'm not from Texas but, jump around to other threads/states to see what is happening. Especially where weather is concerned.
Also visit the Australian threads -very nice folks there as well. I think they would really enjoy hearing from cowboys & Indians-(they don't have any of their own) they are true supporters of USA. @ "Australia, six states and one funny little island."
When I was hybridizing Streptocarpus (ie: meaning "twisted fruit- which is what the ripening seed pods do before opening and dropping seeds everywhere. I exchanged seeds with a very nice Aussie gentlemen who sent me seeds for yellow flowering plants (sold like gang busters) and I sent him seeds for variegated and scented streps.
He used to be a re-anactor sorry spelled that wrong. He and others would dress like the Americans did in civil war., etc. Also learned some Aussie terms - that would stump folks living in US - just for fun of course.![]()
Sorry for your loss. Its hard losing close family. Its good to remember them. I had never thought about essential oil in/on a rice sock.I have 2 of that design. Super long soccer tube socks! Several years ago ~2004/05 my Mom made one for me the year before she passed from cancer. That sock started to develope a hole a year or so ago. I get some large socks. Slid that one, still tied shut into a new outer sock.
So I still have a small momento that she made for me 'still usable' and still relaxing my neck etc.
Occasional drops of essential oil and stuff like peppermint, or other relaxing like lavender??? Good stuff.
I wonder about angle of light beam relative to the ground as to the possibility of color shift for reflection back to your view? Distance is basically the same from both nights, yes?Got an issue. Need some opinions.
About 10 days ago at night i shined flashlight at coop from house, (do that every nite), I saw vivid, big, BRIGHT GREEN eyes, looking at me. It looked like 2 green lite bulbs. Watched for awhile, its a white feral cat. Last nite, it was big yellow eyes, I saw a flash of white fur as it ran into barn. Same feral cat? Different white cat? Different animal (predator)? What other critters are white, night predators?
Can animal eye reflection at night change color? I've never seen green before.
@electrycmonk , is most likely correct, depending on the angle of the light, you can see two different colors being reflected back to the viewer.Got an issue. Need some opinions.
