Texas

I need to expand on the need for muzzles. It will be rabies vaccination season soon. I need my vet and her techs safe. It is really easy to get yourself in a world of hurt with these dogs if you were to come through our gate carrying something that appears like a syringe or thermometer. I had to shoo the UPS guy off last month saying I still have two dogs loose on the property when he had a heavy package to deliver. I had to tell the guy to get safe and off the property. I love them but they are head strong animals.

Something gruesome and slightly positive. I drove to Brownsville yesterday and they now only have 1 refrigerated white semi trailer out back of the funeral home that is a dramatic improvement by far for this region of TX. Just for the record it was Angel's off of 1847 south of Los Fresnos. I expect to be able to report back when they are back to their normal of 0 of those.

BTW I didn't overshare location data this map will not get you anywhere close to my front door. But will get you to some good tacorias. Do try the green sauce an angry woman runs the kitchen so it is usually made right at Galarzas.

I saw some discussion about Zeta likely becoming a hurricane before hitting the US currently over the Yucatan. @electrycmonk do you have more data on this? My usual sources have gone into winter sleep mode. Also, https://earth.nullschool.net/#current/wind/surface/level/orthographic=-71.66,28.89,1196 is not helpful. Best I could do:
https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/gtwo.php?basin=atlc&fdays=2 and it shows no threats. I am guessing it is a nothingburger. Still the clouds south of the YP look suspicious. Plus this one seem do put the possibility to bed.

@RUNuts might also be a good voice to hear from.

Nothing from me. I let the prognosticators study the swirly winds and then decry their prophecies.

Speaking of which, they think it'll freeze here tomorrow. I'm still upset about the frost that zapped the tropical plants that I didn't protect.

I've been distracted by other stuff the last week. Personal stuff. I'll take a gander at the satellite loops are see if I get any "gut" feelings .... I'm not gonna jump on that "nothing burger" wagon just yet, main reason? Farmers almanac has us in a much milder (read warmer) winter this cycle. And the NOAA predictions folks are in agreement too - shoot they even upped it by suggesting .... Shoot was it the La nina as well?

So with all that being said.... I chime in later today or this evening.
/Salute
Cheers
