Texas

I just had a tire taken out tonight. With a wimpy Jeep jack and 12 inch tire wrench. I have broken down old man back syndrome. It was a bad experience to face in the darkness that I wish on no-one. Breaking loose those 5 lug nuts one by one. The tire looks shredded but I know I can buy a replacement spare for 25 tax free down here on the cash and carry market. The cuts and bruises will heal for free.

I just wanted to mention we are back being to the warmest region in the country again, but my back still hurts. I probably need to get a real jack from Harbor Freight.

No rain here! :( I need to burn some brush piles but afraid my neighbor would report it!

@AllenK RGV , that old saying; "Your about as much fun as changing a flat tire in a hail storm", came to mind!
I hate changing flats anytime, day or night. The OEM jacks and tire irons just don't cut it...that's why I have an after market 12 ton hydraulic floor jack and a 4-way tire iron. :D
sometimes I even carry a tractor jack,....ya never know when it might come in handy.

I Had a floor jack in my trunk for years. Had a flat and a man stopped to help me.
When he asked if I had a jack, I opened trunk.
His mouth fell open and said "a woman with a REAL jack".
He changed tire, refused the money I offered, entire time muttering "a REAL jack, I can't believe it."
Did you get a marriage proposal or a date? Sounds like he was in disbelief and smitten. :)
