Oofff, brown recluse get one response from me.... Safe & efficient but, a quick death from above. My Better-half has a scar from one on her bumm, years before we met. The necrotizing created a small concave scar. As fascinating as the science is, I have no plans or desire for any mores real life experiments with that species. The black widow is in the same camp afaic.

Chickens fed and watered. I lucked out, rain slacked off, I wore hooded cathartic jacket, my go "coat". Its warm and waterproof.
Let chickens out of run, they were scrounging around pasture.
Checked rain gauge, we have puddles!
Solid inch of rain overnight.
Back in house, its raining again (thank you)
Chickens headed to dry barn.
As you know they're cornish x, and 6 months old. they have started squatting, so eggs soon?

Replying to my Teutonic lady comments. I have to date had two in my life. This morning my 6 AM cheese sammie making was apparently too much. I got a full 12 ounces of ice cold water to the chest so responded in the most manly manner imaginable "I ran". She did apologize 30 minutes later as I cowered in bed.

I finished my coke at 8 AM.

We do our normal thing everyday, nothing special here. I'll be in bed by 9.
Sighs.... covid shut the bars down again Tuesday (3rd time). We play dominoes everyday, my sister-in-law owns a bar, we have always gone there for dominoes.
She's closed so we have to find a "new" home. A bar that has dominoes, and serves food (51% alcohol sale bars are closed), think I found a place....we shall see.

We just made it back from our veterinarian with our oldest dog. Almost all the labwork was negative for anything so it isn't a manageable diabetes thing as I was thinking based on her symptoms. The Vet is leaning more towards a cancer diagnoses(DX) sorry I can not spell words I use abbreviations for.

Just happy I am done with it all now. It is somebodies else job. Making a vegan chicken pattie early morning grilled cheese with pickles and dijon. I had to skip the pickles part but managed the dijon. I am totally loved by 5 dogs and an uncountable number of chicken so it worked out right for me.

Just for the record had violent dreams again involving hammers. I hate those stupid dreams. In my case the hammer was German and antique. do own one but not really certain which storage shed it is in.

The best reward is having a Mexicocoke in the morning.

I am near Mabank, Cedar Creek Lake.

We have horses, goats, Jacob Four Horn sheep, over 100 rabbits, approx. 300 head of several breeds of chickens, Guineas, 1 Brahman bull, 2 emu's, 1 pot-bellied pig, 1 wild sow, 3 Great Pyrenees, 1 Blue heeler, 1 BlueHeeler - Border Collie cross, & 1 Miniature Longhaired Dachshund.

Hey, Jean. I am in Athens. Boy, you sure do have a lot of animals to tend. I only have 8 chickens, 2 aquariums, 1 button quail and two dogs- a chiweenie and a who knows what - both are 9 yrs old and I am doing something with or to them all the time.
