ha, I am half way between Centerville and Crocket. We have family in Houston and Dallas. We use to live in Dallas before getting this place. It was half way between our kids so a great place for us all to meet up. Our son also bought land across the street from us. What part of Houston area are you in?

OK this is kind of surprising. They had two new people working the counter where I placed my taco order. They knew somehow I just wanted salsa verde I guess it is nice being the famous El Gringo around these parts. So "Pretty Fly for a White guy" song is in my head.

Still nice having the new staff get your order right. I do not care about the reasons behind it! Tacos were fresh and tastyThat or Rose is still running the kitchen and told them not to mess that part up. Enjoying my Mexicoke now with a heated up belly.

So happy DW just got off the phone with DD and that young lady finally sees the logic in opening a USAA account so we can deposit money into an account she owns. This has been a 7 year struggle for me. Glad it sounds like the fight is finally over. I just have been wanting the ability to instantly transfer funds to my DD for years in an emergency. I get concerned over her safety being in a different country. Postal delivery takes around 2 weeks otherwise.

I just really feel more secure that my daughter is going to finally set up that account. For her 15-18 yeears we always kept 50 Euro bills on the fridge for her for emergencies. I thought she only needed it once DW said it was more than that but it paid taxi fare from Kaisetslautern to home. It is beyond comprehension to me that you can not read the train schedule in Germany.

My wife tells me I was a real PUNK any time they got used I do not remember it like that because my girl was so reasonable/intelligent and I wanted her home safe.

Funny rhing DW said she replaced those 50's more often than I ever knew because I was such a drama queen.

Eastern side. Think Baytown area.

Yes, Houston is an hour to drive across but everything is "in Houston". That doesn't help matters.
