Texas

I'm really hoping central texas gets rain, we need it.

I removed the link to Pet Chickens of Texas per forum rules:

Huntsville about 70 miles north of Houston and about 3 hours south of Big D (Dallas, y'all should all know that though...since we are all from Texas). Things are slowly getting back to normal in my area...I wish I could say the same for my neighbors south of Huntsville. It's nice to see so many fellow Texans in the chicken "business".

We are in Albany, Texas. It's about 30 minutes from Abilene. We've been lurking here for a month or so. Hubby has made one post I think. We're new to the forum AND to chicken/bird raising. Well, not entirely true, Pokey raised quail when he was a kid. He decided to get back into hatching quail, and then get some chickens going. Our boys are 6 and 7 (almost 8), and we're all VERY excited about the new family project. We've ordered some quail eggs that will arrive in a day or two.

BTW...he's Catfishingpokey. Nice to "meet" you guys!!!!! About to scan the "Texas" post to see if anyone is fairly close to us.....
