We've been averaging 1/2-1 a day or so. Like you, alot splits and goes around-i wonder if Lake Somerville causes it to split?
Maybe air above water is hotter/colder?

Still have alot of standing water.....
Still getting rain everyday.

HALFWAY THROUGH AN ODDLY RAINY, COOLER-THAN AVERAGE JULY:

[PIC 1] As of the 15th, temperatures recorded at Easterwood Airport are running 2.8° 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗿 than average, for this point in the month.

14 out of 15 days this month have had some sort of measurable rainfall at the airport. That puts our current total at 170% the expected rainfall for the month of July.
