I never give it to someone else. I have plenty of room for rodent control on my acreage.

I'm sitting in porch drinking coffee.
It's absolutely, completely quiet .
No owls hooting
No coyotes howling
No dogs barking
No frogs croaking
Nothing but crickets chirping.

well, I don't like that. I have tomatoes and bananas hanging and getting ripe. Much too early to get that cold. Not even January yet! Hurumph.

Fully planning to put together a last minute greenhouse top on my garden beds - I have things getting close to being ripe and wouldn't want to lose them

I don't mind cold. I prefer cold to hot.
You can always put on more clothes to get warm BUT you can take every stitch of clothes and still be hot-and sunburned.
That said, I have been enjoying the recent weather and am not ready to leave it behind for colder or warmer. I did close the windows last night. Planted some stuff in my run, let's see how long it takes for the chickens to destroy.
We desperately need rain, that's the only thing about this blue norther I'm anticipating.
