I tolerate snakes until they threatened me or mine (people chickens animals) .
Then their dead, I don't believe in rehoming (relocating)-why give someone else my problem.
I never give it to someone else. I have plenty of room for rodent control on my acreage.

I don't mind cold. I prefer cold to hot.
You can always put on more clothes to get warm BUT you can take every stitch of clothes and still be hot-and sunburned.
That said, I have been enjoying the recent weather and am not ready to leave it behind for colder or warmer. I did close the windows last night. Planted some stuff in my run, let's see how long it takes for the chickens to destroy.
We desperately need rain, that's the only thing about this blue norther I'm anticipating.
