Thank you. And good luck! I hope the flooding doesn't come to pass. He's a handsome fellow.
We are under a flood warning at the moment.
I didn't raise any feather feet birds for the longest, but I fell in love with langshans and brahmas. I generally don't have a problem with the feet, but we've had more standing water than usual.feathered feet concern me. We have way too much mud for that to not be an issue.
Pretty bird. Brahma or another breed?
I need to get more Naked Necks. I enjoyed the couple that I had. Whole lot calmer than the wild birds I've got now.I didn't raise any feather feet birds for the longest, but I fell in love with langshans and brahmas. He is a mixed breed. His father was a blue orpington & ameraucana mix, mother is a hatchery dark brahma. He is pretty impressive in size, and just an all around good rooster. I'm very fond of him, feathered feet and all.

The hen next to him is an average size naked neck.
I love the ones I got from Ideal in Cameron. They have the real deal naked necks. The girl above was from a tractor supply bin. I'd love to mix naked necks with every breed.I need to get more Naked Necks. I enjoyed the couple that I had. Whole lot calmer than the wild birds I've got now.
