Ugh, I'm battling hives for going on 3 months now. Meds are not working anymore. They where suppressed for a week or two with strong dose of steroids but once they wore off they came back worse than before. The basic allergy test turned up nothing. Have a dr appointment today. I really need this fix ed d soon. Would like to stop having to call in because of it. It gets really bad, so much so I can't sleep.😣
This is a personal question. Are or possibly pregnant?
Reason I ask-daughter was pregnant suffered terrible hives entire 9 months. Nothing helped. Baby born, hives went away immediately. Baby is severely/majorly allergic to eggs.
Just a thought....

Nope not pregnant, unless jesus had something to do with it. Personal maybe but I'm not active, and have never really been interested. 🤷‍♀️

Also have not thought about the oatmeal bath. I do use an oatmeal lotion tho and it helps for about an hr.
I put oatmeal in blender and make a "dust". It dissolves easily in water and seems to work well. I hope you find answers and get relief.
I think tide has changed their formula. It NOW makes me itch after using it for years. I'm using arm&hammer now.

Ugh lost two chicks for sure in the torrential downpour this morning. They got soaked because they got out the the pen area. Two more were almost gone. One in the pen and another out of it. The one I found out of it I thought was completely gone. It was gasping and nearly unresponsive.

I had nothing that was hot an ready to warm them up quickly. So I got the water in from the kitchen sink warm. Not super hot nor lukewarm kinda in between. Ran it over the chicks till they had warmed up to the touch. Took microfiber towels to dry them and got a heating pad plugged in and going. While the heating pad was warming up I cranked up the heat on the water and stuck my hand under it till my hand was hot and retaining that heat and used my hand on the most far gone chick till it wast gasping and breathing normal. Got them both on the heating pad. Well between me and the heating pad till they where more lively.

One is doing ok and in the brooder with the bantams but the other one that was farther gone isn't so going to do some yoke water for it and keep it with me today.

This year is going to be hard year for me and chicks I think.
