It is hotter than 2 rats ...... in a wool sock! The lavender cockerel and his girlfriend went to their new home, got the chicken yard mowed and weed eated, feeders filled, waterers refilled, hidey hole open, everyone is chillin together no issues. I am done with the outside for awhile

Idk, I mowed early, then showered (dumb) then wrangled chicks and was dripping 😂 It was 94 here today with a real feel of 111, 78% humidity. You're not acclimating, the heat has cooked all your nerve receptors 😉

I'll take it! As long as I don’t feel the heat it's a good thing!
 
My daughter borrowed a generator. Their electricity has been off since the big storms Friday (?) night. They have 3 dogs, a cat, and her husband has to work so they won't leave home. It looks like the electricity won't be back on any time soon.
I feel bad for all the people who are without power with this high humidity.
