Soooo, tried to talk the hubs into another "small" section of the yard (maybe 25x30ft) for another coop and run on the other side of the chicken yard (the chicken yard would be smack dab in the middle of the 2 runs and coops) he gave me the stank eye and said no babe I'll try again in a few months, lol.

I just want more, ok, do I really need a legit reason I'm keeping that chocolate cockerel that I hatched from your eggs and thought it would be nice to have 2 separate flocks, instead of having to separate them in the breeding pen. Plus 2 coops means more birds, I can only house so many birds in my current 7x8 coop.

I think so too! And with the chicken yard right in the middle, I could add another gate and each flock could have their yard time, rotate every other day. It's all there, a perfect picture in my head, just need to make it happen
