I plugged in the heater plate for the waterer, we're sitting at 12° with a feels like -3, it never got above 16° yesterday. I hope this is the last arctic cold snap of this winter.

Yay! Just 4 months until 100+ days! (I'm kidding.. let's have a little spring first. )

What heater plate do you use? I've been looking into getting one.

Wish I only had to have one heater plate.....but 62 would break the bank!

We are still getting light snow. Not much coverage. The grass is peaking through, but it's a nice light steady snow.
It's 16° with a wind chill of 3 at 10a.m.

Don't you know?....we only have two seasons now days, winter and summer. Don't have a clue what happened to spring and fall?

Ain't it the truth. I hate going from 20s to 80s/90s in a matter of weeks. It's like I'm always waiting for pleasant weather to happen.

I hope this is our 'once a year' major freeze....here in South Texas, 2 would be too much to handle.
