Yea, another Texan. It is amazing how many of us there are here.

Welcome !

Greetings all. Not necessarily new to the site, but new to this page. Located in Coahoma, TX (just east of Big Spring). I have 3 roosters and 1 hen (didn't know what they were until they grew). Looking for hens of the Dominique, Wyandotte or Orpington variety.
Thanks

Thanks Jim for your help. I'm sure we'll be visiting you again to increase our "herd" (especially if the chicks turn out to be roos!).
Allen, great web site and extremely helpful. Thanks!

David

Yet another Texan (can you tell from my username?). Hello everyone. We are about 30 miles southeast of Dallas out past Seagoville. New to raising chickens and loving it so far. We have 26 chicks about 3 weeks old. 13 Black Australorps, 12 Red Stars and 1 RIR (identified by members of this board, thanks!).

Hey I want in! I'm a Texas ex-patriot- now settled in Hollywood, SC, with 10 hens and 1 roo. But I raised hens on Redd St. in South Austin for many years. I let them out a lot, and sometimes a neighbor would call to say they were at the bus stop 2 houses away. I gave 'em quarters, but they kept losing them- no pockets!
