ive been getting some good firtile eggs but they are going to hatch mutts... lol doubt anyone other than i would want them.... lol member? wyanhama? lol cant wait to see that cross! also have a few Minorca x NN lol but what im interested to see is my OE i got from Little Wing,
hes been with most of my girls... hes a blue boi and boy is he a looker! such a gentleman! today he was searching for nesting spots for the girls! they dont like laying in the pen... hes over EEs, a NN, cochin, BR, GSL and others i cant remember... lol got too many!
what am i saying? no i dont! i need more!!!

Does anyone else have trouble with bees all over the chicken feed?

No, it is dry in the feeder. There are 6-10 bees rolling around in it and buzzing loudly. This has been going on for several days. Chickens mostly stay away but sometimes they take a swipe at a bee. But mostly leave them alone ( I would too).

i got the beginings of a project but they just fight.... buff silkie pair and 2 EE pullets... also 2 chicklett pullets that may do better than the adults....
as for the bees.... hit em wit a water gun loaded with dawn water!!!

Not seen them in my feed, seen them if feed at someone else's place not long ago. They are just looking for food, maybe the power/dust/crumbled food has something sweet they like. Usually if you don't mess with them they keep to themselves.
