Lol.. I may have.. depends on what else my husband ordered for me. The Bresse, Red Dorkings, and Black Copper Maran eggs were a nice surprise!

Ideal only has male SGD.. But I'll be hatching out some this spring

Actually, that's not accurate. That's why they were calling me, today. I've been on their waiting list for female SGDs. They have them - they're just really hard to find on their site. It took some finagling on my part to get on their waiting list a few months ago.

Just checked the tinted egg layers.. the reason why only the boys were showing up in the search is that they have the pullets and straight run listed as being out of stock til April

Howdy Howdy!

We live 30 mins outside of Lubbock! We have 7 hens and we are looking to hatch some more. We have a bator that has been borrowed until March 25th and I would love to get some eggs from Texas in it pronto! If any of you have any hatching eggs for sale and see this in time please shoot me a PM! I am sure this is the wrong spot for this post but I am a bit of a newbie! Thanks friends!

Vivi is in Odessa and has some very pretty birds....Odessa's not too far from Lubbock when you are in West Texas;-)

I'm in Wichita Falls.. two hours north of Dallas/Ft Worth.. anyone near me that has fertile eggs for hatching?

I have a fellow teacher friend that would like some eggs that she doesn't have to have shipped... I'd also like to know where I can get some when it is time for me to hatch some for my little brother's first chickens.
I live in the city limits.. so no roosters allowed. I just have two sweet hens.

I'm in Kaufman, east of DFW. I have seven dogs - most are rescues. I have been crazy to be a chicken momma for quite some time. Finally convinced my husband and he was very instrumental in finishing out the ooop. He is now very supportive. The chicks are on the way!!!
