I've been goofing off all day. Read a book

and otherwise ignored my job. I'm a little out of sorts with work. Of course, it doesn't hurt that the code I need to be testing is nowhere to be found. Kinda hard to test something that's not here, wouldn't you say?

So - now - I am going to leave early (by like two hours) and go home and play with my chickens...and, try to decide if I want to call Ideal back and say that yes, I'll take a swing at their SGDs. Who knows, I might get lucky and get a pretty good specimen out of the lot. Heaven knows, I had no idea that when I got three so called Ameraucanas from them I'd actually get one that is darn near show quality. The other two are mutts to the nth degree

I have 2 americaunas from them now, my avatar is a pic of them i call them bonnie and clyde...would be nice if i could get something nice outta one of them!

Did you know about the South Texas State Fair in Beaumont? It's March 23. I live on the NE side of Houston, only about an hour from there, and I've never even heard of it! And they evidently have a pretty big show, from Bantams to Large Fowl. I would like to take my kids and check it out this year if I can.

No, I have not heard anything about them. I will have to look into it. My you get kids are really interested in the chickens and I am always looking to learn more about them. Thank you, I will certainly investigate this!!

well now im in the market for a few dz hatchin eggs fer the easter hatch along! lol so many chicks i have already and DW wants to hatch more!!! who knows i may just wind up hatchin more mutts!!! maybe ill get another NN or silkie cross!!! lol
anyone have unique projects goin on? i wanna add some FLAVA FLAVE to my yard! lol
