Ok. I think I will go ahead and wait to get my sweet little ducks then. Better safe than sorry, and I would really like to have a pond for them anyway.not nearly as messy as the pekins...

My girls are both sitting on eggs, we should have baby Muscovies next month.I love the muscovys.. cute little tail wags![]()
my giant pekins have been laying for weeks.. the cayugas give me an egg here and there.. but I don't think the muscovy girls have started yet this spring

momma is pure ameraucana.. daddy could be pretty much anyone in the coop... I am going to separate them all in a few months.. then my EEs will have their own place and so will the ameraucanas
LOL - thanks...and, I'm bailing in about 30 minutes to go pick up my husband's rabbits....of course, I have failed to mention that to anyone at work; but -hey! - it's on the calendar....of course, it doesn't say "picking up rabbits"....it says "appointment OoO"...but, still!
Quote: Lol.. there is a big ol pile of eggs out there.. I don't THINK any are muscovy eggs.. because the pekins are egg laying machines when they get started...
They all need their own pens too before I start giving away any eggs or ducklings... I'm not overly fond of mule ducks.. which is what I would have right now if I incubated any!
