Thanks, I know it's in her DNA but she knows better as soon as I walked outside to dump scraps and saw what had happened she tucked tail and ran. I am almost at my wits end with her she is a sweet dog but I don't know what else to do I guess I will have to keep my chicks penned up and only let them out on supervised run time

Congrats

I am driving out to pick up our Silver Grey Dorkings on Wednesday. Then, the end of this month, I have two dozen Red Dorking hatching eggs inbound from Dick Horstman...Here's hoping they arrive in good condition.
We will definitely want to follow along with the hatching progress and share the photos of the pips when you can!

Aaaaargh!!!!! I am so mad I could bite a nail in two!!!!!! My blue heeler Bonnie just killed one of my chickens!!! Now I only have 1 of my older production red hens left and they were so sweet! Now I will start on the new coop tomorrow for sure and change my fencing around the house!!!! I love my dog but I could have strangled her I was so mad!

OH that's very disappointing.

I'm so sorry.

I'm sorry. Those things scare me! I am 6' 2" and I would freak out with a 7' chicken looking down at me. Those two males look like they want to peck you right on top of the head. I guess if I raised em from chicks it would be different.
I was just looking at the emu and thinking it looked like something from Jurassic Park.

I am sorry that happened. As cute and silly as my Cavaliers are they can and have taken out wild rabbits the same size as they are- there is no way they could have access to the coop area. Ever.
