easter eggers....lay the greenish blue eggs. lots of places list them as americuana, but that is a spark ina gun powder room. the way i have accepted them is basically mutt americaunas! beautiful birds, but not a SOP breed, if that makes sense








thse are my 2...just over a onth old now
 
oh and i forgot about turkens, or naked-necks, if you can get past their look, they do well in our heat as well. im pretty sure they lay well, but i have no experience
 
I have three recipes up on my site, right now (chicken-n-dumplins, chicken frittata and chicken potpies) - what other recipes would you like to see?

I've got a few desserts I should be adding over the course of the next few days; but, I'd love to hear from y'all about what you enjoy making with your chickens/fowl and eggs.
 
i make a spicey devilled egg that seems to go over pretty well anytime i break it out...also had a grilled chicken thigh that was stuffed with a whole jalpeno that was amazing...will ahve to put some on paper for ya
