I have pure Ameraucanas that I can work with but am pretty much giving up on trying to breed Marans to SOP and just go for egg color and size.I am still trying to work on the foundation breeds, so not a lot of crosses. We do have two Splash Marans X Cream Legbars eggs under a broody hen right now set to hatch the 23rd.

Anyone in the Austin area interested in "pet quality" Crested Cream Legbars? I have 2 pairs, make me an offer, I don't expect a a lot of money but please don't low ballHatchery laying hens at this age go for at least $25, these guys are special, paid $75 for them as 2 week old chicks. Will sell the roos without a hen but not a hen without a roo
I am in South West Austin, willing to meet within a 25 mile radius. They are 22 weeks and should start laying either any day or next spring. Seems the jury is out if they wait until spring for POL. They do have bright red combs and wattles. I am only selling them because I really need to just focus on 1 or 2 breeds and I am in love with my Silver Penciled Rocks and I really like my Barnevelders.

Thank you Lisa
Those are beautiful birds!!! Did you hatch them? I am wanting to try incubating after the first of the year. I think I know what is going to be on the list of eggs.
