I just bought that Black rosecomb bantam hen from a local breeder! Along with his RIR bantam and red-Breasted rosecomb hen. I need a rooster of each of these!

Very funny short story... Long time ago ( 6 months ago ) i bought 4 white silkies to make sure i got at least 1 hen. they all ended up dying except one! Today i figured out it's a rooster!

So I need a bearded white silkie bantam hen and a bearded partridge silkie bantam rooster.

some other birds i need :

2 RIR hens
black polish rooster
BR rooster
brown leghorn rooster

Bought some hens of each of those from someone who had to move out of town.

I am just outside of Burleson to the south down off 917 and 803. I haven't set any eggs yet this year. Most would end up being a mix. But I do have a pen of White Faced Black Spanish that will be pure bred. I plan to set some of their eggs soon.

Definitely want some Spanish! I love any barnyard mixes!

Neither have I had any eggs. Probably will start a layin' like crazy in march!

Yes just like chicken they ate great on the bar-b-q last thine I sprayed them with cooking oil dusted them with salt pepper and flour backed them and made a brown gravy with the juices also stuffing them with onion and half a clove of garlic then wrapping them in apple Wood bacon and smoking them them serve with plum sauce
