I don't know if I uploaded pic right, in case I didn't here's the situation. I have a 3 day old chick that won't stand up. She moves, but she crawls. She chirps, gets cranky when I pick her up she just won't stand up and walk on her own. Any suggestions on what, if anything, I can do for her? Thanks

What do her legs look like, hon?

the babies brooder is officially hanging in the 70's this week! they growing so fast....my ausies and EE's are by far this biggest...the one silkie i have in there goes underneath them as if they were a mama hen! its precious...and the bigger guys just hop over the poor the ting when its in their way!

Eating like champs! and feathers coming in nicely! Cant wait to get them outside! may give them a little yard time this weekend depending on weather, will definatly have pics o that!

All of my Brooder Babies are doing fantastic! Only 2 have died so far. 1 Barred Rock and 1 Welsummer.

Right now I have 3 unknown chicks from feed store, but I'm pretty sure they're Golden Phoenix, 2 Welsummers from Feed store ( we're told they were pullets ), 7 Brown Leghorn mixes, 2 Naked Neck mixes, 1 RIR bantam mix and 1 Polish mix!

my crew is 3 barred rocks (pullets), 3 black ausies (straight run), 2 EE's (straight run) and 1 silkie (straight run)...all were from a feed store, but stock comes from IDEAL...lost 1 silkie and thats it!

congrats!... when are they due to arrive and which hatchery did you go with?
(we're gonna want pics )
I ordered from one of our Feed Stores -- they use Ideal since it's close.
Not sure when they'll arrive - sometime in March, depending on things. The only one I'm not sure about being able to get from them is the SF. We'll see.

By the way, are their Ameraucanas TRUE A's or really EE? They list both on their site but everything I've read states the hatcheries usually have EE rather than Ameraucanas. I don't care either way but was wondering.

i had a gf once that broke up with me cuz she was skeerd of chicks!!!! she was given one for easter and loved it so hard that its EYES POPPED OUT!!!!
LMAO i then brought one on a date and chased her @ with it!!!

That reminds me when I was growing up on my granddad's farm. My oldest sister is terrified of bugs. My Dad had found a tomato hornworm (if you haven't seen these, they are big, thick, and green). Anyway he chased her around the house with it. He changed directions and went the opposite way and they met head-on. He threw the worm at her and it landed on her chest. She swatted it right down on herself. The dance and squealing she did afterwards was memorable.

Maybe this is why I am so warped.....

my "americaunas" from ideal are definatly EE's....no muffs or cheeks, and missing the slate colored legs, but still beautiful!
