I um... resemble that remark...
And as far as walking we used to take them on walks on leashes all the time. The kids at the park used to live it when e brought the goats.
I used to take my goats for walks all the time when we lived "in town" (we had about 40 chickens.. goats.. two donkeys.. rabbits... eh.. you get the idea)
i had all the neighborhood kids and many of their parents convinced they were funny looking dogs....
I made some out of scrap 2x2s. They can be put in there right away. Once the chicks are big enough, they'll find them. We have an EcoGlow brooder warmer that they love to stand on top of once they are big enough to figure out how to jump up on top of it and I have it sitting taller than the portable roosts.does anyone put roosts in their brooders? if so, how old are the chicks when you do this?
i have noticed a couple of mine are jumping up and hanging out on the top of their waterers...getting a birds eye view of things, and was just thinking about giving them something to jump and climb on...penny for your thoughts.
Yep. they are one and two weeks old.does anyone put roosts in their brooders? if so, how old are the chicks when you do this?

what astonished me the most was her complete lack of concern or taking responsibility for what they have allowed their animals to do to mine.

and her kids are as bad as she is.. the very first time I went over there her kids were bragging to me how their dog would go out and kill deer by itself.. then drag home remains!
