Texas

we have a green cheek conure.. and an african grey parrot.

the african grey is our favorite "family member".. you just can't call him a pet.. he would have to make a rude comment about being called an 'animal"...

he contributes to conversations.. makes up his own jokes.. and demands certain shows on his favorite "toy".. the TV
and he also yells at the dogs.. and is the speech therapist for the conure

anyone have silkie sin with their standard size hens? Or mille fleurs? I heard silkies can do ok... Just wanted to check. I am curious if I will have to make another pen for them. I was going to get silkies to be my brood mothers. Anyone know how broody faverolles are?

my silkies are in with jersey giants and orpingtons.. and two VERY big ol dumb freedom ranger roosters... and the silkies are doing fine!

My dUccles got their tail feathers plucked by the standard hens.. not the roos.. but my silkies do fine with the bigger roosters.. the polish roo got his rear end handed to him though.. but in retrospect he asked for it... .. lol
Haha, alright. I will go ahead and get my few silkies. x3 I am hoping to get two or three pullets. I want to try and stay away from roosters for now since I already have one. I know that is going to be hard with silkies.
