Sounds like a plan! I am just afraid to order eggs and not have any hatch, when I don't even have a flock yet! xD If I had a flock and had fertile eggs from them then it wouldn't bother me so much, since it wouldn't be a waste of money getting the eggs. =)

I miss my garden!!!! my chickens liked it better than me cause they ate everything last year!!! Soon as they figured out tomatoes were good to eat that was the last I ever got. They even ate my jalapeños and seranos

i've been lucky - meetings all day long...no work. lots of laughter, avoiding work, reading BYC and otherwise blowing the day and getting paid the big bucks to do it......

Lol, I know what you mean!!!! But the sad thing is my job is to make sure the "fertilizer" rolls up hill literally! I moniter 24 different lift stations around town, so everybody's poop is my bread and butter!!!
