I did a quick count 141 eggs currently in the incubator 17 eggs arrived yesterday and still need to go in at least 73 eggs enroute so that's at least 231 eggs

i have to ask , what do you do with all the chicks?

Hi not to hijack this thread, but you all are close to my neck of the woods (Drp Spgs) and need to find a little girl a home. Would anyone be interested? She is healthy, lays everyday perfect brown eggs, 1 year. I unfortunately have to move and now that I have signed all the paperwork, they tell me my house is in the WRONG ZONE for chickens. Breaks my heart, but I have no choice but to give up my love of chickens till I finish school. If any is interested please please feel free to contact me...Thank you!
P.S. She would come with 1/2 a 50# bag if organic feed and some bedding.

do any of you grow any fodder specifically for your chickens? i was thinking about starting some small herb mix buckets just to put in the run and allow the chickens to eat....just not quite sure what to put....

I just started sprouting some BOSS, barley and alfalfa. Funny you should ask since I just got into doing it this week!! I hear lots of people liking wheat and barley...some love doing oats.
