Wheat barley oats?? In what form are they in when you buy them. I am confused about this part. Whar do the bags say or the stores call them?

do any of you grow any fodder specifically for your chickens? i was thinking about starting some small herb mix buckets just to put in the run and allow the chickens to eat....just not quite sure what to put....
