there is a mocking bird outside that is driving me nuts..

he's learned all of the chicks chirps.. and now he's working on imitating the ducklings...
i know he's laughing at me.. I tried telling him i don't appreciate the false alarms...

And sure.. you can have a roo .. the extra boys were gonna end up on the grill anyway..

Since some will be frizzled and some will be smooth (only carry the frizzle gene) it may be better to wait until they start to feather out so you don't end up with a normal feathered bird that only carries one copy of the gene

btw.. the hatching eggs are supposed to be 2 dozen bantam frizzle cochin OR bantam frizzle cochin X silkie eggs .. so they could be "pure" or a bit mixed with silkie
i also received 6 eggs from her "mixed" pen of standard sized buff laced or gold laced brahma hens crossed with either bantam frizzle cochin roos or silkie roos

the chicks from Welp are supposed to be pure.. i ordered 5 of the frizzle cochin bantams (along with a bunch of other bantams)... so they might toss in a few extras
