I'm sure when we finally buy some land ill up my numbers and get some quail and whatnot friends of mine just acquired some mini goats they are going to breed. That's going to be a hard one to turn down!! Haha

Out of curiosity, what would you raise rabbits for? Other then pets? That is something I have no experience with.

Oh im sure they could figure it out now. U just want them to acclimate. My first batch had access from day one and ended up sleeping under the ramp cause they didnt know what that big dark hole above it was

I introduced myself about 100 pages back, I think, but I'd given up on chickens because my husband said no....until we went on the Peep at the Coops tour last week and now he's decided it would be okay.

So...I'm looking at coops (think I'm just going to order one from someone in the DFW area) and ogling pictures of chickens and I'm getting pretty excited!

LOL That's like me and my wife. At first she didn't want much to do with them and now I'm the one saying NO MORE. I can not let her go to the feed store alone.

Hard to imagine, huh? Just hatched 35 and have another 50 or so eggs the broodies are sitting on.

I am done hatching for a little while. Started in December, last hatched a week ago. Going to count how many I have growing out tonight. Pullets far out weighed cockerel's this year so it's been more fun than last year on that... How are your SLW's? Such pretty birds!

Maybe I need to get my husband to a tour de coup thing to get him more in favor. I have a nice horse stall to repurpose.
