Just wanted to say that there was an article on the AOL home page about Bell's Palsy being a symptom of Lyme Disease and that you need to be checked to see if you have it and get on antibiotics, hope this helps and you get better.
Thank you Donna. The doctor gave me this long list of what can cause bell's palsy and after looking me over and doing a bunch of tests he said it was stress related. He put me on medication that day though. Thank you very much for the information!

I think my girls see me as the "food queen" or the "meal worm queen". If they see me they run under my feet and I'm practically tripping over them. However, if they see my 4 year old daughter.........they run the opposite direction. LOL. She tries to hold them properly, but she just doesn't get it right so I'm constantly having to readjust her arms while holding the girls. Also, she's the one who helps me gather them back into the coop after free ranging so they probably see her as the "girl who runs after us."

I hope he tested you for Lyme Disease because it can be bad when you get older, if he didn't you might want to make sure because it can be really bad. We all think that doctors know what is best but they can be wrong to!! The thing is you can't fix it once you get old it has to be now!!! I just wanted to tell you in case you didn't know, sure would hate it if I found out later that it was bad and I didn't say anything. Hope all goes well and your feeling better.

Hello I currently have 4 buff Orpington hens but would like to add color to my flock. Anybody have black or white fertile eggs to trade or sell?

Welcome to BYC! You're a little far for me, besides most of my hens have either gone broody or are molting. Very few eggs around here right now.

The Texas thread has slowed down lately. What's going on?

Just moved the fuzzy butts out of the house and into the new brooder in the chicken barn.

DW brought home 3 Lakenvelder alleged pullets from the feed store (Ideal Poultry) yesterday.
