Oh we have our share of mockingbirds but there is plenty to go around. Last year I made 15 jars of jam and dehydrated 2 gallon bags of figs. I could have done more, but got tired of fooling with them. With the heat, they aren't as big this year.

mine are green too! and got tons of fruit on it at the moment!

Morning! I'm building nesting boxes today.
Loving the cool weather! This North wind is wonderful.

I have a fig tree right next to the coop. They LOVE figs. As the figs drop I throw them into the coop and the fight is on. I like fig jam but I've never made it. Not sure what else to do with them.
