Why not?? They enjoy warm water baths. Now, I don't recommend a shower with the cat, but a chicken or a duck. Sure. I mean rubber ducky, you're the one. Right???

ArE all I the Sussex's (sussex-i?) as friendly as the speckled? I am slowly collected laying hens for my bestfriend (they have 3 kids, and cps just gave them 2 teenage foster boys). They use 12+ eggs a day. Anywho, their oldest daughter is in absolute love with the hens I already gave them.

As friendly as my SS is, are all of them like that? I would like to find her a Ss, because mine just rocks.

I've got two bo for her, well I may keep one. They aren't big enough yet for the big kid coop. I am in a tough spot. I just wanna buy everything. Argh!

*raises my hand* my name is Amber, and I'm addicted to raising chickens. And frankly, it's starting to irritate me. There simply aren't enough choices around here to obtain chickens. I *really* don't want hatchery birds, but short of a 2+ hr drive, I may have too

I order 3 Maran and 3 amercauna hatching eggs. A friend is going to incubate them for me. I seriously don't know why it's so hard to find amercaunas :/ I just dont want chicks. Ugh. I want 3+ weeks, but either no one has them or they are asking way to much and they aren't pure Amercaunas.

I have

Wheaten and Blue wheaten Ameraucana eggs in the bator now, just put them in today! I only plan on keeping one of these that hatch and selling the others, I'm outside of Dallas, I'd be willing to raise them to 3 weeks if you are interested!
