He is shaping up nicely. Easily twice the size of his 2 hens

My polish had that problem... Doc told me to give drops of nasal solution in her nose and it will get better....

Cockle-Dood, how many quail did you end up hatching? Are they doing okay?

How is the hen? I am sorry I didn't pipe in. I don't know a whole lot about the illnesses. I had just the one egg bound hen and we culled her.

Quail are doing alright. Had 8 hatch yesterday. 5 so far today.

The hen is lookin worse and worse. Mught be taking that same approach and doing some prevenative measure for the rest of the flock. Poor girl...i did what sarge said, and will be getting some antibiotics tomorrow. If she makes it through the night ill e surprised.

I guess on a brighter side it is one of the hens that didnt have a name and hasnt laid yet, and have 2 more that look just like her...trying to find some silver linings...

galanie, where did you end up finding property? If you are two hours north you're an hour further north than me. MJA and Dood arent too far. If you are in the wooded areas here the yaupon is a challenge to keep down.

Yeah im maybe 2 hours from columsneil. Im bout an hour from livingston.
