Hi LewisFamily!

If you've been here before then I didn't see you. :)

So, what about them Cowboys......

(In my best George Strait voice) So how bout them Cowgirls?

I grew up an Oilers fan, and when they left became a Steelers fan (that one is a LONG story, one of my best friends is from Pittsburgh)

I got a joke for you.

No sweetheart, you can't be the first girl to play quarterback for the Cowboys, I'm afraid Tony Romo beat you to it

....some people LOVE their mashed cauli....

I think if I could cut all grain based foods out I would keep off weight. I did it for seven months last year, for some reason just cant do it this year.

The rain is going totally around us but it keeps threatening. I want to get the baby chicks outside in the newly completed hoop-coop! Yea!!! We finished it yesterday. I put some shavings down but every time I go out to get the food and water ready it sprinkles and then thunders! Rain or don't, already.

Italia - I don't remember Steiner catching on fire. We just drove through there on Old Sayers on Saturday (a beautiful drive!!) and I didn't see any damage, but that was just from the road. My sister-in-law and some co-workers lost their homes in the Bastrop fire. OH wait, you are in the hill country? Do you mean the Steiner Ranch subdivision?? :D haha, I thought you meant the RANCH!!

I completely forgot! Where can I get it from?

It can be bought premade online or you can make it yourself for cheap. Online or at health food store you get lecithin and ascorbic acid(pure vit. C) and on amazon.com a small ultrasonic jewlrey cleaner. Small cleaner that I got was only 20 bucks. Mix the lecithin in clean filtered water. This part is important because this mix is a fat soluble that breaks the blood barrier. It is immediate and that's what is so cool about it, so clean water is important I would think. I use my Burkey filtered water. After lecithin in water dissolves add ascorbic acid and run machine 5 or 6 times. For exact numbers on everything just google liposomal vit c and how to make your own. I have seen this work miracles, no joke. It is rumored with a good diet in conjuncture with taking this supplement that it can cure cancer. Humans are one of the few species that does not create our own vit.c . Horses lives can be saved after snake bites with injections of this stuff. It is unfortunate that more animal and human health care does not explore a more natural way of working with the body. I guess the other way is just more profitable.

Good luck and have fun. It is very exciting to play mad scientist at home

Yes I meant Steiner Ranch. It is by lake travis. It was happening around the same time Bastrop was burning. I saw two fireballs in the sky during that time and thought for sure the world was ending. lol

From the hills we could see all the smoke and color from Bastrop even though it was so far away. It looked like a nuclear explosion. Like big mushroom clouds at some points. It was nuts and very scary. And Steiner Ranch was just across the lake from us, so we had a front seat view.

I have a LOT of respect for her knowledge and reasoning, and also for how well she puts it all in words. Not to mention the patience she shows by answering the same or similar questions over and over and over. She's really great!

She does answer, but I do love her little sarcasms she throws in. Cracks me up! Can't tell you how many laughs I got reading that thread

I made up a batch of whole grain oats, chopped turnip greens, wrinkled bell pepper that sat in the fridge too long and cilantro, a couple tbsps. of garlic power and cayenne powder! boy did my flock love it even the wee babies.....not the 1 week or less ones....but the ducks especially went wild and needless to say the guinea love their veg!
