Brookshire11, I keep hearing about the elderberry syrup. Where do you get it and do I need to get a certain brand?I use elderberry syrup for my kids! They get some everyday! Since I started, the only thing my son has gotten is an ear infection, but I think it's because he can't handle dairy. We've since switched him to coconut milk and he seems to be better.
Quote: I hope so!! Thank you!
Look forward to pictures of the rooster!
I will! I'll see if the husband can call..add some variety lolDrive them crazy and call. I would call Myers too and see if they can find them.
My roofer just called. His wife is going in for somewhat emergency surgery tomorrow (heart/blood pressure issues) and he can't do my roof. They just found out this morning. He is going to work me in asap. He was apologizing for it and I'm like, no problem, she is way more important than my roof. I guess some aren't very understanding.
I DID talk to Meyers. The lady, Laura, was very nice and sent me an email back FAST.
She looked up my tracking and said they technically have until tomorrow to deliver, but a lot of times the shipping won't update until the chicks have been picked up.
She said, "just in case.." they have a gaurantee, but I don't want to even have that be the case...
She said she "We sure want your chicks to arrive safely! " and to let her know when they arrived.
I've been a wreck all day...lolNow I am worried about Brookshire11's chicks...poor things

I'm a teacher too! I wonder how many teachers have backyard flocks. I'm up in the dfw area. Luckily I've stayed well so far this year. Last year I had pneumonia twice and the flu, all between November and January. Of course, I had one student with the flu out last week and another out this week with whooping cough. Will do...Can't believe it has taken me so long to get anything with all these parents sending their sick kids to school...hacking and sneezing all over everything!
I've got 4. Our oldest is 22 and lives in Florida. We also have a 17 year old, 14 year old, and a 6 year old (surprise!) at home.I have five three boys two girls....if you didn't have the memories of them as babies carrying them around holding them as they slept, the smell of them as tiny little things....we would eat them as teenagers like lions do! I'm allergic to teenagers that's what my problem is.es that's it I'm just allergic....
I get in Pinterest when I need inspiration for meal planningGood afternoon, everyone!
Part of my New Year's resolution was to try and make something new at least once a week. So far, I've not done much other than making chai lattes and ramen noodles.
The plan for this weekend is to make some hummus, some spinach dip, pita chips, mini beef empanadas, chicken salad and croissants. I want loads of tasty finger foods that can be eaten throughout the cooking process. I can play a couple movies in the living room, encourage my family to enjoy some tasty morsels and maybe have a cocktail or two (I'm thinking of making a strawberry & blackberry mojito).
Are there any interesting dishes I could try out later? I have this weekend planned out, but I'm scrambling to find other delicious things to make. I get super overwhelmed when I have loads of different recipes that I want to try, haha!
My 17 year old also has a smell, but it's more of an Axe cloud. We remark about it, only because the noxious fumes of body spray/body wash/deodorant/shampoo all competing are sometimes unbearable. He won't leave the house without a shower - my husband and I are convinced our water will be much less when he leaves for college this year.I have two boys, 21 and 23. They are starting to become human. Not quite there yet, mind you, but at least they can now pass as part of the human race.
The oldest has a good job at Google and manages to keep his body clean. I don't understand how teenage boys can get so smelly and how they can tolerate it. My youngest has not quite learned the clean body/clean clothes/clean bedding lesson. If I'm not vigilant, he can end up smelling up the half of the house where the kids' bedrooms are. How can a human tolerate such disgusting smells--oh, ya, I forgot they're not quite human yet.
