Oh that's great news. They are just adorable and they look great...all bright eyes. Glad you survived the ordeal.

DH came up with a good idea. We have a fairly big dog carrier, about 30 x24 x20. Going to turn it into a brooder cage for our sebright. I think it will work and she will have more room than her nest box. Just hope she will accept it and not freak out when we move her. Must do something to stop the big hens from laying their eggs in her nest. Guess they are taking the easy way out...get someone else to brood their eggs, while they play all day.

I hope our "hen" ladies and MsJellybean are ok. There was some bad weather up north earlier today. Haven't seen them visit here today. It's suppose to be cold for a couple of nights Monday and Tuesday nights near freezing for me. Mom says we always get a cold snap before Easter but it sure is late to get that cold. Gonna be running the heat lamps for certain.

We had some rain but nothing terrible. MsJellybean is down the street from me. I could literally walk there lol.
Hope it doesnt get too cold.. :/
The rain was bad enough. We "need" it, but its inconvenient when your trying to move furniture in lol

Well I thought you mite have been riding a motorcycle. I wish I still had mine. I lost it when I was in the hospital for 9 months with my pancreas. Here is a pic of it.

I wish! DF has one but I have no idea what it is.

We moved into this house in September but JUST got our stuff out of storage in Houston....lol

I used a medium sized dog carrier with great success. Even now, the broody will go lay an egg in the carrier if the door is open, so I guess SHE really liked it too!!

It is a great way to keep broody and eggs safe.
