Everyone is getting on well. And the new coop should be up and running by this weekend, my husband worked on it for me this weekend since I couldn't.

Sorry for bailing, my back is killing me. Even all the meds I am on aren't helping.

The pup does have workms! One got on me while washing clothes. Pretty sure it was dead but I want to soak myself in alcohql now.. i cant handle worms, so we are going to de worm her and send her back with my bf for a little while. Do I need to re de worm her with that meds after a certain amount of days? I know she must be awfully bad wi th her pooping them out

Yes, you must re-worm the dog in 10-14 days. Read the wormer for when to do it. But if you don't the eggs will hatch and she will have worms again. I went though it with my pup Cheyenne, she was so infested she was pooping worms before I de-wormed her! The most likely worms she has is round worms, they look like spaghetti noodles, or tape worms, those look like grains of rice. A lot of broad spectrum wormers will do hookworm, roundworms, whip worms, but not tape worms. so make sure you get wormers that do it all.

Does the pup have a bloated belly look? If she does she is so infested her life is in danger.

I would recommend getting a broad spectrum dewormer. Whipworm is very hard for even vets to find. They dog can have it and be tested 3 times and only come up positive 1 time out of those 3. So I would de-worm the dog for all worms, just to be safe. If she is that sick there is no telling just what she has.
Also I think you said she was not yet 6 weeks? If so she is in serious danger of Parvo. Without mom's milk to provide a little protection and no antibodies of her own she is very vulnerable. Keep her away from all public places. Adult dogs can carry Parvo and not be sick from it. She should not be exposed to any place that has dog traffic, or dog owners boot traffic, for her own protection. Once she has her 3 Parvo shots she will be ok.

Ken, ill try and get a good picture of her for you before she goes... she doesnt drink much at all which is concerning, she is soo ready for her soft food thou ghh. Ima send some milk with my bf so if she doesnt drink, he can water the milk sown and she can get that in her system. Then she will get liquids in

I think at the oldest she's 5 weeks and yeah, we have a shot for her already, just can't give it yet. Then if thats the case my bfs place is best. I have 3 grown dogs. He doesn't have any dogs. More people come here then there.

You take care of yourself. I've been down in my back and know how painful it can be!! I can only imagine with how serious your injury is!!!

Sounds good. With my youngest pup Phantom we had to bleach our shoes when we came home from the dog park. And there were insane people there with 6 week old pup with no shots. Parvo is deadly, and it is a horrible way to die. The dog dehydrates to death basically, no matter how much it drinks. The virus just strips the dogs of all nutrients, fluids, everything. Putting a dog on IV is the best chance of survival and that is only about 30% chance at best. My sister works at a vet and see it all the time.
