Greetings fellow peeper keepers. Been very busy, lots of tales to tell, but want to take a minute right now to say...from our flock to yours...Merry Christmas to all, peace in your hen house and good will to all God's creatures...Magpie

They did!!! We've been busy with Christmas stuff but I will post pictures as soon as I can. They were very nicely packaged and all kept nice and warm. Even had a heating pack in with them!!

I'm glad you'll be closer to your family. Y'all need that.

What kind of hoop coops? Will you be using PVC or cattle panels?

Cow panels. I have a cow panel run right now that I will leave here. Sure didn't build it to move it!

I am so glad that your chicks arrived safely! Pics! We want pics!
Merry Christmas ya'll!!

Merry Christmas to All!!! God Bless!!

Wow! Over a thousand pages of posts since I last checked in!

I am still out here and alive. Since our last post:

We have bought a house in Granbury
Started our own trucking company
Bought our first brand new truck
Wrecked our first new truck
And are now waiting to be cleared by the Doctors to return to work. May be some time before we can get cleared. I received a head injury and may have received permanent brain damage. Only time will tell. My husbands hands don't stay closed all the time when he is holding something. He drops stuff so it is hard for him.

Before the questions hit, no we were not at fault for the wreck. We have a lawyer and are waiting on all the insurance companies to decide what they are doing. Right now we are broke but at least alive. We are hoping this spring to get back into Chickens since we will be home until at least March (that's when we will know if the brain injury is permanent).

I'm off to read back on the thread a far as I can!

Oh no!!!! I hope you don't have permanent brain damage.... But even if you do the chickens will still love you. :hugs

Hope you have a happy recovery and all is well.

With my nephews help we finished the quail pens this morning and got them all moved in to their new pens.

Wow! That's terrible, but from the look of that wreckage, you're blessed! Will be praying for complete restoration and that you both will be able to get back to business in the near future!!
