Any one have any jubilee orp hens for sale or trade?? Also looking for a blrw rooster willing to buy or trade..all info appreciated thx guys

Those of you who incubate, is it hard? I've never done it and would like to one day. What is the best kind of incubator to get for a beginner?

@wday ~ I would love some Jubilees! I will happily settle for some BBS Orps for starters though. I have 3 hatchery Buff Orps, and love them!

Incubating is not hard, but it does require a lot of attention. My best hatches were achieved in an incubator I built myself. I would highly recommend getting one with a fan as it keeps the temperature consistent all around the egg. An automatic turner is not a necessity, but it sure makes things easier. Most importantly, keep a close eye on your humidity. Hope this helps.

Well henless I have a rooster and 1 hen if I can't find anymore hens I will just have to be more patient..my blue partridge brahmas are my favorite pretty and love pettings and follow me around like puppies

I know this is a longshot but I'm looking for a Black Australian Swan cygnet to purchase. I hatched one out 5 weeks ago. It needs company. Anyone know of local breeders? Thanks.

I've had several hatches in my homemade incubator. We were able to build it for about $30 verses the more expensive "reliable" baters. I've been able to fit as many as 50 in there as a staggered hatch. I do have to pay Attention to the humidity the most. My last hatch was from Ladycat, 9 hatched of 12 that had shown development.
