Hey Ken.

Out of curiosity is that cutter rated heavy enough to cut 26 gauge roofing metal??

David

Never mind Ken. I found some information on it and it's not capable of cutting roofing metal. Looks like I will have to use the ol Skill saw.

I hope to. I am trying to get my larger coop all squared away by the time the 22 straight runs come by the end of the month, first week of May. I will probably have to shove the other chicks out of the brooder into the large coop and buy myself 6-8 more weeks to get the other birds their own small coop.

Are you still interested i having me build you a coop? I had a customer back out on me.

David, sorry I missed you. No, this cutter won't cut roofing metal of any kind. I am looking into a nibbler for cutting roofing tin. I heard it will also cut the heavy stuff up to 26 gauge r-panel. Whole lot easier and quieter than the old skil-saw. LOL

I hear ya there on the noise of a skill saw but them nibblers are expensive for just every once in a blue moon use. I may just have to bite the bullet though.

David

Don't worry about missing me Ken!! My wife ignores me all the time so I am used to it!!

I laughed way to hard at this. John said to tell you he agrees with you, especially when I'm in build mode or taking chicken with someone. LOL

Lmao.

I need a reciprocating saw like it's nobodies business. I need to suck it up and get one. It would make my builds so much easier with all the reclaimed wood I use... I've got to get snapping on quail pens. Couplehundred birds about to be without homes... I'm seriously behind on breeder pens with the big fowl, also. My hamburgs, lakenvelders, kraienkoppe, qnd some assorted bantams are making a colorful pen right now... lol...

Trade days is so close I can feel it. I'll hopefully be able to rid myself of some of these extra youngsters.

It is being held at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds on Airport Rd in Conroe. They hold 2 a year one on the first Sunday in May and the second on the first Sunday in October. Not sure of the time it opens, but I will find out. Mark your calender for May 3, 2015.

Thank you for the info! Barring hell or high water, I'm planning on being there. A time frame would be awesome, thanks;)
