We graduated from the brain injury program today! They finally told me what all we were working on so that I could continue working on it. Seems it's not so much word finding as the whole thought organization, lol! They used a whole printed sheet of paper and a bunch of fancy words that basically boiled down to the wreck has made me scatter brained (or should I call it chicken brained? hee hee

There are some other things I need to work on such as control of my random emotions and my super jedi power of anti focus (read, I can't focus very long but I am working on it). I have made some huge improvements in memory but I am still not allowed to drive a car, cook unsupervised, but I can finally take a shower unsupervised! YAY!!! Though I am not sure my husband is going to appreciate me kicking him out of the shower now.
You worked as a fleet mechanic? Maybe someday if I ever get my skills back I may need someone to work on the fleet I dream about. I miss my truck a whole lot and the freedom it was.
As far as the migraines, I am so sorry you have them. I have them all day every day until they started me on topiramate. I am about to ask them to up the dosage because the migraines are coming back but I think it's because I am thinking more than I was at first.
If you don't need the help, I don't mind. The method I use for butchering is the one I was taught by my mother who was taught by her grandmother. Though I use a plastic milk jug instead. If anything I will cheer you on for whatever plans you do decide. Eating that first bird that you grew yourself is pretty awesome.
I have a few that I got about a month ago. Two are golden buffs and two are bantams of some sort. A rooster and pullet of each. Let me know if you are interested and I will ask my hubby if he would be interested in parting with them.
