I just joined BYC last week and found this thread today. There are certainly a lot of people from Texas here. Anyway, just thought I'd say hi. I'm NW of San Antonio near Bandera.

Thanks! I have 8 full grown hens and two 9 week old chicks.
The 15 month old hens are: 1 Black Sex-link, 2 Rhode Island Reds, 1 Pullin (I think) and then 3 white ones with a few black feathers. I really can't remember what they are. The lady that sold them to me said but you know. The 2 chicks are Black Sex-link.Cool! Do you know what kind they are?

Your town must have different laws than Ft. Bend Cty. We have an aerobic system and we have to have it maintained. The service people come out twice a year to check it. I remember reading where you could maintain it yourself but you had to take classes and jump through some hoops to be certified.
