Because it is Texas. We are an hour's drive from the grocery store, a 100 mile round trip to the doctor/hospital. The peace and quiet and isolation with open spaces that we desire has its price I suppose.

Yeah, we're pretty far out. But it's quiet!!!

NO traffic. We moved here from Clear Lake City. We just got tired of the city!!!

clear lake used to be pretty far out not too ling ago...
now with 45s 6 lanes each way...it's very close!
