Texas

I do not comprehend, why can they just write this in plain English terms! That section about the municipality!
All I understand is that I can keep up to 6 chickens? Is this correct?

I'm thrilled! My poor baby's stay in my garage all day until I come home!

Do you have EE chickens you can sell me? I'm in Friendswood TX

I talked to a friend at our animal control department and he said that in Nacogdoches the only regulation in place is that the coop has to be 100 feet from any public road. No limit on the number of birds, etc.

Absolutely not. A HOA cannot expand its tentacles to parts not originally included.
When you move to a community it is established right from the get go.
Now a Municipality I am not sure of. I will ask my brother, he is an attorney.
For instance we are in Sugarland, Texas, however when we moved here 15 years ago, our subdivision was in Sugarland ETJ.
So, fast forward 15 years and finally we will be taxed, and forced to have Sugarland a public water source, Yada, yada .. it is official in December of this year.
As far as the law, it actually begins in September.

Thanks for letting me know. On the plus side my Coronation Sussex eggs from my flock are hatching. I have two so far stumbling and peeping at me. I am seeing more Pips too. When one hatches and is not connected to the egg anymore, I remove the egg shells. I have learned from experience, that left egg shells can stick to a pip hole and suffocate a potential chick from coming out.

Hey! You are fairly close to me. I am south of Rosenberg. :)

We are also in an ETJ. It is a matter of time before they annex us. They have annexed the south side of our road, but not the north. I will fight it just like everyone else has. It doesn't do any good, but someone has to win some time!! I kept a couple of articles where areas that had been annexed were able to opt out because they weren't getting the water, etc. that was promised.

They have one. But, I am not included in it.
I agree with Nksg75. They can't include you. They can just gnash their teeth at you. :) It is my understanding when they annex us, we will be grandfathered in re our animals. I want to get cattle, before that happens.

It gripes me to no end that you buy your property and yet THEY can tell you what to do with it. grrrrrrrr
