Texas

Yes I know kikisgirls there has been 2 classes so far, and I go tomorrow to take the class in Comfort, but I was wondering if any one had taken one of the other classes, as I was wondering how it went ? and what is the end test on ie blood collection, a written test etc
You could reach out to someone on that list and ask them?

I unfortunately(meaning my chickens) are in Harvey's path, and I am chewing my nails to the quick! I have my chickens at our farm(matagorda county) because I can't have them in our neighborhood. Unfortunately for me even if I could get to them, there are 28 of them. Hmmm, what would my neighbors think??
Also, how to fit them all in my vehicle?
My husband makes fun of me, and says" you would cram all of them in your car if you could, then you officially would be the Crazy chicken lady"
Anyway, I am seriously thinking about running down there tommorow and putting them in the barn.
Oh, if I only wouldn't have had kids, I could live wherever I wanted regardless of the school system!

I just picked at my DH and told him that IF the winds get bad enough for me I MIGHT consider moving my girls into the spare bathroom...
He laughed. He doesn't know I'm kinda serious.

I'm sure all the animals will be just fine...
Double check there is noting laying around that could fly and hurt them in with the winds though.

I'm not going to get a direct hit (too far inland, thankfully) but we're in the 15-25 inch rainfall prediction area. If the winds get really bad, well, let's just say it won't be the first time the chickens have slept in the garage due to an overabundance of caution...
