Texas

Just seen on Fox weather reporting stream from Galveston: woman walks up to the poor guy getting blown around as he covers the 'caine and hands him a six pack! Texas hospitality at its finest, even during a cat 4 blow!
Sounds like something we would do here in New Orleans. In spite of the press, we do take care of eachother. Filled sand bags for NOPD and NOFD this morning. LOL

Hope everyone and their flocks are safe!

I was in South Carolina for the "1000 year flood" last year so I know how fast the flooding can happen.

Take care of yourselves and each other and you will see each other through this. *hugs*

We have received a little over 9" rain so far. We have been under tornado warnings most of the night. One touched down in Missouri City. I don't believe there were any fatalities.

Our neighbors (6) came and stayed with us til a little after midnight.

My son just texted and said to watch out for the little floating balls of fire ants. He got stung good this morning.

My flock is doing okay. I went out at 6:15 and the adults were still on the roosts. The chicks were like little kids, running around chest bumping each other.

I hope and pray everyone is okay.
