Texas

Sean is a better Texan than I ever will be. He aced the Texas Quiz before anyone ever tried it.
Thanks but I come from a long line of Texans, my family has play an interigual part on Texas history as well as American history. Let's see, Sam Walker of Texas Ranger fame, was an great great great uncle. Quanah Parker another great great great uncle. A great great grandfather was a holy man of the Comanche. I'm also related to John Wilkes Booth on my grandmother's side. And had a 4th great grandfather who was one of George Washington's generals.
Geez, I guess I should know a little about history.

Wow and I am a first generation Texan! I was born here but raised by hillbillies from Ohio and Arkansas. I may have some Hatfield or McCoy in my blood, but my family doesn't talk about their heritage. But Walker and Paterson....wow they were instrumental in making some iconic revolvers! On the plus side of that equation I can't be associated with the succession document either! Totally worth a read if you haven't yet read it. That was a different time for sure.

Talking about good reads, how many times have you read "On Golden Pond" by Larry McMurty? Or "Commanche Moon" that entire series is wonderful. It was surreal for me when my local paper reported the death of Blue Duck in 2002-2006.
