Texas

 yikes. I hope it dries up quickly for you.
Oh yeah this is Texas, the grass is growing like mad and sucking up all that water. I had my lawn guy out yesterday to take care of the front yard and I bet I will need him again in less than a week. The streets are now clear just with hundreds of potholes to dodge now.

I was in Concan all week. It didn't rain a drop there. I was worried the rain was going to ruin out trip but it didn't. Got another road trip next month...closer to you and I'm :fl hoping the weather behaves for that one too.
Thankfully Invest 91L didn't form into anything tropical but it just sat on top of us from Monday to Friday and kept training us with rain bands. We were averaging 5 inches of rain daily Tues-Thurs.

Port Mansfield and McAllen/Edinburg were the hardest hit here locally. Looked like Corpus Christy got it bad as well. On my southern end of the valley we got off pretty easy, but I was housebound and running out of TP Wed and Thursday. Did not want to drive the Jeep on those streets.

Hurricane season and you don't have a case of TP in a water tight container on the second floor!?! You are not prepared for the weather. I'm looking at 3 big bags. I know how to keep Crazy Lady calm. LOL!

Glad you only had high water. Did any make it into the house? We fight that every big rain.

Hey you! I have a store that sells it 1 mile from home.... I just wasn't expecting an invest that never developed that I had been watching approach for 5 days to be a huge rainmaker!

Harvey was also 91L if my memory is correct. That one dropped some insane rain on you two's heads. I imagine this is the new reality we live in.
Yes. We were stuck at home for a week....couldn't swim the streets. And once we could get on the roads the store shelf's stayed empty for like ever!

Well it looks like we can expect a very busy season look at all these tropical waves:
